Carol Merrick

Carol Merrick is, of course, the better half of the Merrick family. An accomplished singer and pianist, Carol has been performing regularly with Buddy Merrick & Praise since 1992.

Well-experienced from major work in church music, she recorded her first albums and her first solo work with the Group's newest Nashville release," Gospel Country" and "More Gospel Country.

Carol's also appeared on television numerous times, especially in the Group's hour-long television special, "Gospel Country " and in the subsequent video of the same name. She leads the Group on several great songs, most notably "Angels All Around You, " the blockbuster, "Let The Whole World Know (Jesus Saves!). Written by Joel Hemphill, and "Something Beautiful" by the Gaithers. Her life's testimony is sweet, honest and always an inspiration to any audience, Christian or secular.

Carol Singing

As a born-again Christian, Carol is an avid witness for Jesus and a Certified Instructor in Evangelism Explosion. For several years she was a church leader in the singles department, and, of course, has been active in a good number of church choirs.

In her daily life, the Group's First Lady is a mother, an insurance and bookkeeping expert, and the former Business Manager of the Good Companion Broadcasting Co., Inc., parent company of television station WJAL-TV.
