First, let's draw a square. Click on the Square on your Toolbar, then draw your square. Now, Click on Object, Scale and a window will appear allowing you to size your object.
Type in the percentage that you wish to scale the object...I have choosen 50 percent. You will want to make sure that there is an "X" in the Proportional box (to keep everything the same proportion). If you want the Pen to be scaled, make sure there is an "X" in the Scale Pen box. If there is Text and you want it scaled, be sure there is an "X" in the Scale Text box.
Click
and hold your mouse down on the picture and you can move it anywhere in the document.
