First let's create a new document:
Let's make it 800 pixels x 800 pixels and name it whatever you like (I names mine Gold Text) then click "OK"
Click on the color pallet in the toolbar and select your favorite gold shade - I used "bead90" - you can just type that in at the bottom where you see the # sign, then click "OK"
Create a new layer and click Ctrl Backspace to fill the layer with your gold color.
We need to add some noise to the color, so click Filter, Noise, Add Noise...
In your add noise window, click on Uniform, 100, click in the Momochromatic checkbox and click OK
